We are excited to offer this new course for the second time in fall 2019, to introduce teens age 10+ to the world of coding and robotics by using Python as a programming language. Kids will be learning the foundations of a real programming language, so they can take their exploration of coding and robotics to more advanced levels.
This program builds on what youth have learned in previous course. They will continue their journey with Python Fundamentals, by building more games, and add more features to their games. Youth will also be introduced to the world of CircuitPython, by learning how to light up the LEDs on the Circuit Playground Express. They will learn how to program its buttons to light on and off.
This new Project-Based Python course reflect the growing demand and interest in Python now and in the future. The course builds on what youth learners have already accomplished in learning coding concepts such as strings, loops, functions, lists, dictionaries, GUI, files, drawing..etc.
This course will take your coding skills to new level. By joining this course, you will learn the foundations of Object Oriented Programming (OOP), and Graphical User Interface (GUI) to build a variety of applications, and games. By doing so, you give yourself a boost to climb up the ladder of your coding journey.
