Flutter- Dart App Development Courses – My (Mississauga) Code Club

We are pleased to introduce MCC’s new series of courses on Flutter App Development. Flutter is the new Cross-platform Mobile Development Framework created by Google, which allows developers to build Android and iOS Apps with one single code base! At MCC, we believe in teaching our students the newest and most innovative technologies to get them ahead. Flutter is a big deal because any developer (or anyone who wants to learn mobile development) can now build native Android and iOS apps with one codebase ONLY! This means, instead of spending double the time writing an app in Objective-C or Swift for iOS apps, and Java, or Kotlin for Android apps, you can now use Flutter Mobile Development Framework to build apps that run natively on both iOS and Android devices using the General-purpose Dart Programming Language.

Understanding Dart OPP (Fundamentals)

Youth 13+ who have a good background in coding can start with this course and skip the first course.

Dart is a new Java-based programming language developed by Google. Prepare yourself for Flutter apps for Android and iOS and developing Web apps using Dart programming language.

In this course, youth will Learn Dart as a programming language. The youth will learn how to set up environments for Dart. They will learn how to use variables, lists, conditions, loops, functions, classes, methods, and more in the Dart language.

Introduction to Dart for Flutter (Fundamentals)

Dart is a new Java-based programming language developed by Google. Prepare yourself to write Flutter apps for Android and iOS mobile apps using Dart programming language.

In this course, youth will Learn Dart as a programming language. The youth will learn how to set up environments for Dart. They will also learn how to use variables, lists, conditions, loops, and functions.

Building Flutter Apps - Flutter Fundamentals (Intermediate)

Start understanding Flutter Mobile Development by building apps, incrementally. The youth will learn how to design, build, and debug Flutter Android and iOS Apps. The youth will build their first app (Hello World App).They will get introduced to Material Design Basics and how to use widgets and event listeners.

Flutter Intermediate Concepts: Navigation, Listviews (Intermediate)
